The people who profit from society make sure their trained press corps talks about the threat of NSBM, but they train the media carefully not to show any part of our side of the story. This could have something to do with the massive liberal slant to American media and their competitors around the world. One function of this site is to address these media reports and point out where they're incorrect.

SPLC report on black metal

Southern Poverty Law Center reports on growing fear of fascist metal. Mostly inaccurate, this report started the media campaign against NSBM.

As usual, the press conveniently made up facts to fit the distorted image they wish to project. We fixed it.

For over six years NSBM.ORG has challenged any major newspaper to even publish our URL. None have taken us up on the offer, and no one in the USA has even tangentially mentioned the site, although plenty of articles about NSBM and National Socialist music and White Power music have been published. The gauntlet is still thrown: We challenge any major media outlet in America to even print our URL. We doubt the media will do this, as it's not in their interests to give us a voice of our own. They would rather repeat their propaganda characterizations of us, lest the thinking reader see through the charade.
